It took me weeks to figure out how to fix mine. It is frustrating, and a lot of trial and error. (Both are links to another page on this website).Įven if you do try all of these, there is a (large) hopefully small chance that you still have a Relayed Connection. If there are still problems try changing your ports in Hamachi2 to any random number above let's say 5000 then forward that port accodingly in your router. If that port doesn't work try forwarding port 17771. You can compare features and pricing here. Splashtop SOS (for on-demand remote support) starts at 199 /year. TeamViewer starts at 610.80 /year, while Splashtop Business Access (for easy remote access) starts at 60 /year. The one port that might work for you is to portforward 443 for both UDP and TCP. Every School is different so contact your Network Administrator to find out if Hamachi is blocked and if there would be a possible fix to your specific problem. ![]() Hamachi (and almost all other programs that require specific ports) have problems with working on University Campuses and other School Campuses.If you are behind multiple routers and if you can, either connect your PC directly to the modem OR connect it to only one router that has a direct line to your modem. Make sure you are not behind multiple routers, even if you do port forward you may still have problems with connecting to a few of your peers directly.This may or may not work, and has mixed results. One fix that some users mentioned worked was to remove Hamachi from the list of startup programs.Just go in your firewall settings and allow Hamachi through. Make sure you don't have a firewall restricting Hamachi.If that doesn't work, power cycle your modem (unplug it for about thirty seconds then plug it back in). If that doesn't work restart your Computer. ![]() If that does work, ask your relayed peer(s) to power their Hamachi on and off. The simpliest fix is to try restarting EVERYTHING.I too have had the problem and after my extensive research (searching for hours on end of google for fixes) and trial and error, I decided to compile it all the fixes into one thread. I'm guessing if you are reading this it is because you have or had the dreaded cyan dot to one or more of your peers in Hamachi.
